Design Specialisms

I approach design as something that has to work as well as look good. I’m a dab-hand at surface-level styling but I’m brilliant at thinking about how a space feels, how people move through it, and how every element supports the overall idea. I’m practical, detail-focused, and good at pulling together materials, layout, set, and atmosphere so it all lands properly in the real world, not just on paper.

As An Artist I Offer Many Design Skills

I am a skilled event designer known for excellent ideas, highly creative work and beautifully delivered, luxury immersive worlds. I have a particular specialism in creating highly decorative, imaginative installations that require heavy prop, decor and furnishings.

I am often recruited to source and make props both small and large, from production briefs or from kit lists. I have my own studio where I can make things and an extensive supplier list that I source objects from. I excel at interpreting complex briefs that require a curios exploration, with a particular interest in period, 19th Century and fantasy.

I am a painter and abstract artist who works with oil, gauche, egg tempura, acrylic and oil-pastel. My work is very colourful and I can produce works on paper, canvas or wood. I am comfortable embellishing with gold leaf. I have a network of other artists, designers and specialists that I can call upon to create a full art department for any type of job required.

If the design, props and materials have been sourced and on-the-day styling is required, I can work my magic. I can even turn a load of flea market randomness into a table of beauty. Furthermore, I can cut flowers into beautiful arrangements, style tables with beautiful objects and create the most insane immersive environment. Either as a one-man-band or as part of a team, I am totally flexible, but I will always give my very best and excel with creative aplomb.

I can manage every logistical detail behind the scenes, coordinating timelines, suppliers, transport, and on-site operations so the experience feels effortless for you.

I anticipate and mitigate risk through detailed contingency design planning, on-the-ground expertise, and calm, decisive problem-solving at every stage.

I am brilliant at creating compelling, unique pitch deck proposals and RFPs. I have worked for agencies simply looking for support with this element only, and for others who wish to work with me end-to-end where I create the deck, pitch and the produce the work.
